Thanks to God! I have since fully recovered in August 2009. So happy that I started to do this and that again ... with my hands. Never appreciated it so much. Typing, doing housework, carrying my groceries, driving ... I could do all that again without any residual pain! Yippee! The darkest hour is over! Its been almost 1.5 months now. Seen specialist after specialist. Maybe I could have developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) or Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS) after the venepuncture incident. Pain seem to have decreased but not completely. I had spent a traumatic 5 days medical leave at home last week!I also cant remember how it happened. Things had happened so quickly since the fateful 15 April morning when I had my routine Annual Health Check. It happened during the the blood extraction (the so-called "venipuncture" process) where, midway while the nurse was extracting blood from my left elbow, I suddenly handknitterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02533283878775955351noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1739752364610030945.post-85183792796278301362009-03-27T19:57:00.000-07:002009-03-27T20:20:43.653-07:00Big Bag Pattern discoveryDiscovered this Big Bag Pattern on Ravelry and its a lovely bag which you can put in a lot of things. Its no wonder Australia could end up with a forest fire these days! Temperature has gone up to about 32 degrees..! This could be a result of the climate change.. and effects of global warming. I saw this poor tree just outside my brother's apartment. I wish we could plant more trees. Maybe everyone should make an effort towards that too. Hooray! Its been a quick one year and we made it! Happy 1st anniversary! This year has not been an especially eventful one. Been quite a quiet year, in fact. We were so excited when we saw it sitting on our window. Dad caught it and put it in a cage we previously housed our tortoise. Lovely little thing! It was green in colour and with a yellow beak, face was in another tone. There were blue feathers at the back. We called it “Tweet Tweet” as it chirps in that manner! We later realised that this is the handknitterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02533283878775955351noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1739752364610030945.post-87935850320722050602008-08-09T19:22:00.000-07:002008-08-09T19:24:21.403-07:00Happy National DayWishing Singapore a happy national day! Despite the fact that I am not able to finish knitting them fast enough, I have been crazily stocking them up! Reason is because I simply cant resist them! Just asked J who came back from Australia to help buy some more Aussie wool for me. Got them at some real bargains @ A$2 (approx S$2.70) per ball!
