Jo Sharp Shoulder Warmer

I am proud to finally show you my completed Shoulder Warmer! There was a long delay last year due to my injured hand but I am glad I finally manage to complete it ... The pattern is actually quite easy and straightforward using Rib stitch, suitable for a beginner like me.

The shoulder warmer was done using Jo Sharp "Rare Comfort Kid Mohair" yarn in Colour 610 Millet (about 3 balls of 25g in total).

Needles
1 pair 6mm needles
Pattern
Cast on 46 stitches
Row 1 Knit 2, Purl 2; repeat to end
Row 2 Knit all the Purl stitches and Purl all the Knit stitches of the previous row
Repeat pattern Row 1 & 2 until it measures about 110cm or as suitable to fit around yourself
Cast off

Making Up
With the right side facing each other, join the ends along the Cast Off and Cast On edges using the edge to edge stitch (invisible seam).

Have fun knitting it too!

Make a shoulder warmer

This piece of knit is what I am working on at the moment. To make a shoulder warmer like the one in the "Contemporary Knitting" No. 34 magazine by Jo Sharp. The pattern seems easy enough for a beginner like me and is light enough for our weather here.

The lovely Kid Mohair wool was purchased from Jo Sharp, through my brother and sis-in-law who visited New Zealand last year. This is the problem with knitting here in Singapore - finding the right wool/yarn and its cost. Stockists are limited and I would really like the idea of stocking wool up for knitters here and for myself some day ...
